Is it me, or has there been more great watches this year (so far) than last year as a whole?Maybe my memory is just bad! Thanks for sharing Chris.
Lot's of nice pieces here. I think the Helm Miyako is a fantastic looking spec monster, can't wait to get mine. I'd also add the Direnzo Mondial DRZ
Very nice selection. Longines Spirit 37mm or the Zulu Time are offering amazing quality, from the caliber, to case execution, hands, lume, dials, bracelet for the prices. They really are in a unique spot on the market, deserving to qualify as affordable luxury IMO.
Great selection. I especially like the Tissot Powermatic 80, 40 mm. I have bought a Tissot PRX recently, and it's a great value for money. I will have a look to their new chrono.I also like the Longines Seastar (I have one in 43 mm).An Omega Swatch MoonSwatch is a must-have, but it's so difficult to buy it as Swatch stores don't have any stock.
Seiko Alpinist Ginza
What did Timex remove/downgrade in the 38mm Gallis compared to the 40mm models? If anything they improved the 38mm by using a sapphire, the 40mm still has mineral glass. What both models could do without is the rubber strap, I detest it with this watch.
Unfortunately Timex quit selling the green-dialed 38mm model and blue-dialed version in 40mm on their US web site. I happen to have both of those watches, their dials are wonderful looking. They look a LOT nicer in a leather strap.
